Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Digital Marketing / Communications Specialist II to own ad serving and trafficking operations for paid media. You will traffic creative assets into ad servers and buying platforms, manage rotation and tagging, and resolve delivery discrepancies before launch and after activation.

Collaborate with Activation, Marketing Technology, and web teams on tag implementation and troubleshoot with publishers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 2+ years in a related field.
• Hands-on ad trafficking experience in an ad server (e.g., Campaign Manager 360) or equivalent.
• Experience resolving delivery and impression discrepancies with publishers or platforms.
• Experience collaborating with agencies, publishers, and vendors on technical troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and a disciplined trafficking process.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Proficiency with ad serving concepts including CPM, CPC, CPA, ROAS, viewability, and video completion rate.
• Familiarity with HTML5, video, and rich media formats and platform specifications.
• Experience with DV360 or similar demand-side platforms and self-serve social buying platforms.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Monday.com for project tracking.

Responsibilities

• Traffics display, video, native, and rich media creatives into the ad server and buying platforms with verified specs and URLs.
• Builds and maintains ad server placements, creative assignments, and campaign taxonomy-aligned associations.
• Manages creative rotation and sequencing across flights and dayparting as directed.
• Generates trafficking sheets and ad tags for publishers and ensures correct implementation before launch.
• Maintains and version-controls creative assets to ensure market readiness.
