Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a Digital Marketing / Communications Specialist II to manage ad serving and trafficking for paid media. The role ensures correct installation of tags, tracking, and creative rotation across campaigns.

You will collaborate with Marketing Technology, web teams, and publishers to resolve issues and optimize delivery. The position is remote/work from home with residency in the Eastern or Central Time Zones; hybrid options apply if near an office location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 2+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Hands-on ad trafficking experience in an ad server (Campaign Manager 360 or similar).
• Experience resolving delivery and impression discrepancies with publishers or platforms.
• Experience working with agencies, publishers, and vendors on technical troubleshooting.
• Excellent attention to detail and procedural discipline.

Responsibilities

• Traffics display, video, native, and rich media creatives into ad servers and platforms.
• Builds and maintains ad server placement structures and creative assignments.
• Manages rotation, sequencing, and dayparts per campaign plan.
• Generates trafficking sheets and confirms tag implementation before launch.
• Implements and audits conversion pixels, floodlight tags, and event tracking.
• Monitors delivery and investigates discrepancies across partners and platforms.
• Owns ad-serving hygiene, archiving, and documentation of procedures.
• Designs trafficking status views and stays current on standards affecting tag-based measurement.
