Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a Digital Marketing / Communications Specialist II to own ad serving and trafficking for paid media. You will traffic creative and tags into the ad server and buying platforms, manage rotation across flights, and resolve delivery discrepancies between the ad server, publishers, and buying platforms.

Every campaign depends on correct setup before launch and monitoring after launch.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline; 2 years’ experience in ad trafficking or similar field.
Hands-on ad trafficking experience in Campaign Manager 360 or comparable ad serving platform.
Experience resolving delivery and impression discrepancies with publishers or platforms.
Experience working with agencies, publishers, and vendors on technical troubleshooting.
Attention to detail; trafficking accuracy and error prevention.

Responsibilities

Traffics display, video, native, and rich media into the ad server and buying platforms with verified specs and tag integrity.
Builds and maintains ad server placement structures and creative assignments.
Manages creative rotation and dayparting across flights per campaign plan.
Generates and distributes trafficking sheets and ad tags to publishers before launch.
Retrieves, versions, and stores creative assets for market readiness.
Implements and validates conversion pixels and event tracking with Marketing Technology.
Audits tag placement on landing pages and site templates for accuracy.
Coordinates tag requests with vendors and measurement partners.
Monitors delivery across servers and platforms; investigates discrepancies.
Escalates unresolved technical issues with clear summaries.
Tracks discrepancy patterns for commercial follow-up.
Owns ad-serving hygiene and archiving of placements; monitors pacing.
Supports invoice validation by reconciling impressions.
Maintains trafficking documentation and QA checks before launches.
Designs trafficking status views for team visibility.
Stays current on ad-serving standards and privacy developments.
