Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking an A/P Specialist to join our accounting and finance team. The role covers full-cycle AP, invoice matching, vendor communications, and month-end close support, with a focus on accuracy and internal controls.

Remote-first opportunities are available across multiple states; at least 3–5 years’ AP experience and Sage Intacct proficiency are preferred. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle AP experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong AP principles and general accounting practices.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with Sage Intacct ERP preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle AP with invoicing in Sage Intacct and GL coding.
• Match invoices to POs and receiving docs with proper approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate AP questions with employees, vendors, and departments.
• Reconcile AP GL accounts and assist month-end close.
• Review employee expense reports and corporate cards.
• Serve as the procurement tool point person, handling user support and workflows.
• Ensure policy compliance and internal controls.
• Assist audit requests with AP documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency.
