Job summary

RethinkFirst, a leader in behavioral health technology, is seeking an A/P Specialist to join a remote-first accounting and finance team. This role supports full-cycle AP, vendor payments, and month-end close while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with Sage Intacct. Based in Indiana, the position offers flexible work arrangements, competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle AP experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AP principles and general accounting practices.
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle AP, including inbox and GL coding in Sage Intacct.
• Match invoices to POs and receiving docs with proper approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Communicate AP questions with employees, vendors, and internal teams.
• Assist month-end close and GL reconciliation for AP accounts.
• Process employee expenses and corporate card transactions.
• Support procurement tool, user access, and approval workflow.
• Ensure compliance with policies and internal controls.
• Assist with audits and provide AP documentation as needed.
• Identify process improvements to increase AP efficiency.
