Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting and finance team. You will manage the full-cycle AP, monitor the AP inbox, and enter invoices in Sage Intacct with accurate GL coding.

You will reconcile AP-related ledgers and support month-end close, processing employee expenses and corporate cards, and assisting with audits. The role requires 3–5 years of AP experience, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and strong Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience; bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and general accounting practices.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)

Responsibilities

• Reconcile AP-related general ledger accounts and assist with month-end close activities.
• Review and process employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions.
• Serve as the point person for our procurement tool, including user support and approval workflow maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Assist with audit requests and provide AP documentation as needed.
