Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead a finance team, ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and drive process improvements. You will manage journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations, and data analysis while supporting audits and tax tasks.

The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and NetSuite proficiency, with remote work within Lumelight-approved states and a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Requires strong GAAP knowledge and accounting principles expertise.
• Demonstrates analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
• Leads and mentors a small accounting team; communicates clearly.
• Manages multiple tasks, meets deadlines, and prioritizes workload.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (NetSuite).
• Public accounting or audit experience is preferred.
• Experience supporting multi-state or professional services organizations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and journal entry processing.
• Analyze business transactions and ensure accurate financial data.
• Manage month-end close process and related deliverables.
• Support monthly and annual financial reporting; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain internal controls and assist with policy updates.
• Assist Controller and CFO in risk identification and audits.
