Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and strengthen internal controls. You will mentor a small accounting team and partner with the Controller and CFO on risk mitigation and process improvements.

The role supports monthly/annual close, journal entry review, and financial data analysis while enabling remote work within approved Lumelight states. Strong Excel and NetSuite skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public accounting or audit experience is a plus.
• Experience supporting a multi-state or professional services organization.

Responsibilities

• Record and approve accounting transactions in accordance with GAAP.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and identify errors.
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts; assist internal/external customers.
• Assist with annual audit, tax returns and other compliance tasks.
• Document processes and implement improvements across duties.
