Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and support monthly and annual reporting. You will lead a small accounting team, review journal entries, manage the month-end close, and provide insightful financial analysis to guide decision-making.

This remote role operates within Lumelight’s approved states, with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Approximately 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Public accounting or audit experience.
• Experience supporting multi-state or professional services organizations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and GAAP compliance.
• Review journal entries and manage the month-end close.
• Provide financial analysis to support management decisions.
• Lead and mentor a small accounting team.
• Assist with audits, tax returns, and internal controls.
