Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the finance team and oversee core accounting functions. You will ensure GAAP compliance, manage the month-end close, and support financial reporting and analysis across multi-state operations.

The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, leadership, and the ability to mentor a small staff, while supporting audits and compliance tasks in a remote-capable environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
• Public accounting or audit experience a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills essential.
• Experience supporting a multi-state or professional services organization helpful.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and internal controls.
• Manage month-end close processes and journal entries.
• Support monthly and annual financial reporting and analysis.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and provide explanations for variances.
• Assist Controller and CFO with audits, tax returns, and compliance tasks.
• Mentor and supervise a small accounting team.
