Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. You will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage month-end closes, ensure GAAP compliance, and strengthen internal controls while mentoring a small team.

You will partner with the Controller and CFO on financial reporting, risk mitigation, and process improvements, enabling accurate planning and informed decision‑making across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Public accounting or audit experience.
• Experience supporting a multi-state or professional services organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Records and approves accounting transactions in GAAP.
• Reviews balance sheet reconciliations and analyzes accounts.
• Assists with the annual audit, tax returns and other compliance tasks.
• Maintains internal controls and supports month-end close process.
• Mentors a small accounting team and documents processes.
