Job summary

Lumelight, LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations within the Finance team. This role reports to the Controller and ensures GAAP-compliant financial reporting, journal entries, and month-end close with strong internal controls.

You will mentor a small accounting staff, drive process improvements, support the annual audit and tax returns, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable accurate planning and informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Ability to analyze complex accounting issues and apply judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize, manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Records and approves accounting transactions following GAAP.
• Reviews balance sheet reconciliations and posts adjustments as needed.
• Reports to Controller; maintains internal controls and policies.
• Prepares journal entries and supports month-end close.
• Mentors Staff Accountant and delegates tasks.
• Assists with annual audit, tax returns, and compliance tasks.
• Documents processes and drives improvements across duties.
• Collaborates with CFO and cross-functional teams.
