Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and strengthen internal controls while partnering with the Controller and CFO.

The role oversees journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis, mentoring a small team, and driving process improvements across finance. Remote work with standard hours, M-F.

Qualifications

• ~4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• ~ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Public accounting or audit experience.
• Experience supporting a multi-state or professional services organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Prepare and review journal entries and manage month-end close.
• Support monthly and annual reporting processes and maintain internal controls.
• Manage and mentor a small accounting team.
• Assist Controller and CFO in identifying and mitigating risk.
• Assist with annual audit, tax returns and other compliance tasks.
• Document processes and drive continuous improvements.
