Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day finance operations from a remote location. You will partner with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and timely month-end closes.

The role combines technical GAAP expertise with leadership of a small accounting team, process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional groups to support strategic decision-making and compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Public accounting or audit experience.
• Experience supporting a multi-state organization.

Responsibilities

• Records and approves GAAP-compliant transactions.
• Reviews balance sheet reconciliations and analyzes variances.
• Maintains month-end close processes and internal controls.
• Supports annual audits and tax returns.
• Mentors a small accounting team and documents procedures.
• Assists Controller/CFO in risk mitigation.
