Job summary

Bird is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee end-to-end close processes and produce consolidated monthly and quarterly financial statements. You will partner with Finance, Treasury, and Operations to implement internal controls and support rapid expansion.

The role includes ownership of G/L, reconciliations, and technical accounting memos to ensure US GAAP compliance. Reporting to the VP, Controllership, you will lead process improvements and collaborate across departments to simplify

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance or a related discipline.
• CPA license and strong US GAAP expertise.
• Experience leading accounting teams and managing multi-entity/multi-national setups.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Month-End Close and GL reconciliations across entities.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements and analysis for leadership.
• Drive process improvements and internal controls to support rapid growth.
• Collaborate with Audit to respond to requests and support annual audits.
• Record payroll; analyze variances in compensation and benefits.
• Draft technical memos for revenue recognition and inventory accounting.
