Job summary

PSC Group is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager in the United States to lead the technical accounting function and a high-performing team. You will drive a timely close, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and partner with operations and finance to support strategic business decisions.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with execution while promoting continuous improvement and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred.
• 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or industry experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (U.S. GAAP required).
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and improve the month-end close process.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals and foster accountability.
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead the research, interpretation, and application of complex accounting standards.
• Design, implement, and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting.
• Collaborate with line-of-business finance partners to support operational decisions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and drive automation.
