Job summary

Super.com is seeking an Accounting Manager to own a portion of the month-end close, review journal entries, reconciliations, and close deliverables. You will work with the Senior Accounting Manager to speed the close, improve documentation, and scale the finance team as we grow.

Key responsibilities include building Looker/Snowflake reports, supporting audits, and mentoring a direct report while adopting AI tools like Claude to streamline processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in industry or public accounting.
• CPA designation is a plus, though not required.
• Experience owning review work and high accuracy before close.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Looker and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Claude AI for accounting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review month-end close deliverables with emphasis on review.
• Partner with Senior Accounting Manager to tighten close timelines.
• Build and maintain reporting using Looker and Snowflake.
• Support external audit and internal control processes with thorough workpapers.
• Use Claude to speed up reconciliations and reporting.
• Identify and drive process improvements across the close cycle.
• Manage a direct report with coaching and quality oversight.
