Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of accounting operations experience.
• Demonstrated payroll processing experience across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of general ledger, AR, AP, and reconciliation principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
• Experience with accounting systems such as Sage, QuickBooks, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team by setting clear priorities and accountability.
• Prepare, review, and approve journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, intercompany activity, and supporting schedules.
• Own and drive the month-end and year-end close, including the close calendar and delivery of financial reporting.
• Lead financial audit readiness and execution by coordinating requests and preparing schedules.
• Ensure daily accounting transactions are recorded completely, accurately, and on time with proper documentation.
