Job summary

R/GA is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting for the U.S. entity and own the monthly close process. You will manage journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany activities, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with global finance teams.

The role emphasizes strong ownership, hands-on accounting, and collaboration across departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to U.S. GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience including month-end close.
• Experience leading or supervising accounting staff.
• Experience owning P/L and Balance Sheet for a business entity.
• Strong reconciliation, analysis, and cross-entity accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close for the U.S. entity.
• Maintain accuracy of P/L and Balance Sheet.
• Prepare, review, and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
• Perform variance analysis and explain fluctuations.
• Ensure ASC 606 revenue recognition compliance.
• Oversee intercompany accounting and coordinate with global teams.
• Lead and mentor one to two Senior Accountants.
• Collaborate with FP&A, AP/AR, Tax, and operations.
• Support external audits and process improvements.
