Job summary

Ledgent-Finance- seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting functions, including AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and month-end close. You will work closely with the Controller to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in progressive accounting roles, leadership experience, advanced Excel, and ERP skills, with exposure to high-volume logistics environments a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• AP, AR, General Ledger & month-end close expertise.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP) and ERP skills.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, freight, supply chain, or other high-volume transactional environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting function, including AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Partner with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong controls.
• Support process improvements and drive operational efficiency across the organization.
