Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to join the Finance team. This role oversees day-to-day accounting, ensures GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and maintains internal controls. The manager will mentor a small team, drive process improvements, and partner with the Controller and CFO on risk mitigation and audits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Public accounting or audit experience preferred.
• Experience supporting a multi-state or professional services organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.

Responsibilities

• Records and approves accounting transactions in accordance with GAAP.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and provides feedback for corrections.
• Updates finance and accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage and delegate tasks to staff accountant(s).
• Assist Controller and CFO in identifying and mitigating organizational risk.
• Assist with annual audits, tax returns and other compliance tasks.
• Document processes and propose improvements for assigned duties.
• Maintain strong knowledge of GAAP and apply sound accounting judgment.
• Communicate clearly, verbally and in writing; manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Utilize MS Office Suite and NetSuite for financial reporting.
