Job summary

Lumelight in the United States is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day finance operations, ensure financial accuracy, and support monthly and annual reporting under GAAP. This role reports to the Controller and guides a small accounting team.

You will develop internal controls, coordinate with auditors, and contribute to process improvements while balancing deadlines and attention to detail in a remote work setup across approved Lumelight states.

Qualifications

• Requires 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Advanced MS Excel and GAAP proficiency required.
• Public accounting or audit experience is preferred.
• Experience supporting a multi-state or professional services org helpful.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.

Responsibilities

• Record and approve accounting transactions following GAAP.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and provide corrections.
• Assist Controller and CFO with audits, tax returns, and compliance.
• Document processes and drive improvements in accounting controls.
• Lead and mentor a small accounting team.
