Lumelight is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and mentor a small accounting team. You will support monthly close, internal controls, and cross-functional collaboration across finance.

The role involves enhancing processes, handling audits, and working remotely within Lumelight-approved states. A Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance and 4+ years of progressive accounting experience are required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Public accounting or audit experience.
• Experience supporting a multi-state or professional services organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries; manage month-end close and reconciliations.
• Support monthly and annual reporting; maintain internal controls.
• Mentor a small accounting team and drive process improvements.
• Assist with audits, tax returns, and compliance tasks.
