Job summary

Thrivas is seeking a Remote Accounting Assistant / Clerk to support the accounting department. This is a full-time, work-from-home position with flexible hours.

Benefits are provided after a 90-day probation for full-time employees, with regular opportunities for pay increases. Experience is not required, though accounts payable and accounts receivable skills are ideal.

The role involves invoicing, receivables tracking, Excel reporting, and supporting payroll and bookkeeping projects as needed.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; basic accounting exposure is a plus.
• Ideal candidate will have accounts payable and accounts receivable skills.
• Experience in accounting is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create new client invoices, from simple to complex.
• Track receivables and alert the office manager/bookkeeper of delinquent accounts.
• Run reporting through Excel daily, and complete weekly and month-end reporting.
• Assist the bookkeeper or CPA on special projects and support payroll as needed.
