Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an Account Representative I to grow their book of business by converting competitors' accounts and expanding mid-sized accounts to large accounts. You will build relationships, present tailored quotes, and coordinate vendor resources to support sales while maintaining customer satisfaction. Travel is required and a bachelor's degree with 0-2 years' experience is typical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 0–2 years' experience typical.
• Knowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales principles and ability to influence customers.

Responsibilities

• Increase revenue by generating new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Generate new leads via networking, cold calls, and research.
• Build relationships with customers through face-to-face interactions and understand requirements for tailored quotes.
• Deliver effective sales presentations and ensure technical requirements are met.
• Coordinate vendor resources to support sales and assist with on-site troubleshooting.
