Job summary

Malvern Panalytical is seeking an Account Manager to drive growth across a diverse territory including Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and DC. This field-based role requires selling scientific capital equipment to government labs, universities, pharmaceutical firms, and industrial customers.

3–5 years of sales experience preferred, especially in scientific capital equipment or analytics.
Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to engage diverse customers.

Responsibilities

Drive sales growth of core capital equipment products throughout the assigned territory.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through quotation, negotiation, and closing.
Build relationships with customers across government, academic, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.
Partner with inside sales, marketing, and technical teams to maximize engagement and growth.
Promote aftermarket products and services, including accessories, consumables, and service contracts.
Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and CRM records (Salesforce).
Travel up to four days per week for customer meetings and demos.
