Job summary

ABB is hiring a District Sales role in the US to lead distributor and contractor relationships and drive order growth. This position reports to a District Sales Manager and operates with a hybrid model in San Antonio, TX, including remote work options.

You will plan sales strategies to maximize market share and margins while maintaining customer satisfaction. Qualified candidates have 3+ years of sales experience with a Bachelor's degree (or 5+ years with a GED).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 3+ years sales experience, or GED/HS diploma with 5+ years sales experience.
Ability to travel to customer sites weekly.
Engineering or Business Management background preferred.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the US for ABB.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with distributors to set future sales targets and strategies, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
Communicate with customers about delivery times, payments, and terms in line with ABB offering and strategy.
Identify and drive development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
Develop and maintain productive relationships with electrical contractors at all levels of their organizations; monitor pricing agreement utilization.
