Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an Account Manager to serve as the main point of contact for clients, build long-lasting relationships, and analyze client data to improve service delivery.

The role requires exceptional communication, data analysis, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to train users on payroll software and coordinate with internal teams. This is a fully remote position across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
• Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
• Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.
• Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about client behavior.
• Keeping accurate records pertaining to client account notes.
• Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services.
• Resolving escalations and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
• Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the overall experience.
• Working with clients to answer their questions about how to best utilize company software to process payroll and establish process flow.
• Setting up user accounts and beginner level training on company software.
• Setting up and training on special features or introduce new features as they are released.
• Communicating with vendors to resolve problems, gain better understanding of correct process and analyzing escalations.
• Setting up and managing conference calls with client and vendor to clarify questions or concerns.
• Intervene in urgent situations where there may be a security breach or timely payroll funding assistance is needed.
• Providing service quotes and follow process for invoicing.
