Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Corrugated Packaging division seeks a driven Account Manager to grow our corrugated packaging business across the Piedmont region, supporting our Spartanburg, SC plant. You will hunt for new opportunities, build relationships, and act as a business owner within your territory with GP's resources.

You will travel 50% to 75% within the territory, primarily day travel with some overnight trips, covering Charlotte, NC; Columbia, SC; and Augusta, GA markets.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience preferably in packaging, industrial, manufacturing, or related B2B sales.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the territory (up to 75%) and possess a valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Build a robust pipeline through cold calling, prospecting, and leveraging your network.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the territory.
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers by understanding their business objectives and delivering value-creating solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experience and successful project execution.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer buying processes and decision-making dynamics.
• Analyze market conditions, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
• Demonstrate strong follow-through and ownership, consistently delivering on commitments and customer expectations.
• Stay informed on industry trends and share insights that help drive customer and business success.
