Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, retain clients, and support new business. You will coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolve complex issues, and ensure accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in account management (5+ in insurance), active P&C licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred, with strong analytical and communication skills and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty licensing required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Monitor policy expirations, renewals, and carrier communications.
• Lead renewal submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Maintain agency systems and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
