Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book, retain accounts, and support new business. You will coordinate daily admin and customer service, resolve complex issues, and ensure accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, active P&C license (CIC preferred), strong analytical and communication skills, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain account management for a book of business with focus on retention.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and pursue outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency systems and data accuracy.
