Job summary

Insurance Office of America in the United States is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book, retain clients and support new business. You will coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues and ensuring accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in account management or 5+ in insurance, an active P&C license (CIC preferred), strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Active property & casualty licensing is required.
• Professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferred.
• 3–5 years of account management or 5+ years in insurance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry knowledge.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure timely completion of activity/suspense and clear workload communication.
• Deliver proactive, high-quality service and uphold IOA values.
