Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, drive retention and support new business. You will coordinate daily admin tasks and customer service activities, resolving complex issues to prevent errors.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, active P&C licensing (CIC preferred), and strong analytical, communication, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry
• Active property & casualty (P&C) licensing; CIC or equivalent designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues
• Maintain policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis
• Monitor policy expirations and renewals and conduct renewal negotiations
• Supervise timely accounts receivable and data accuracy in agency systems
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team
• Champion IOA values and demonstrate integrity and leadership
