Energy Systems Group is seeking an Account Executive to join our Public Sector Central Region team. This role is virtual with frequent travel up to 50% including overnight stays.

You will drive new business using a consultative sales approach with utility and public sector clients, translating needs into installable energy solutions. You will develop relationships with leadership, engineers, and project managers, prepare compelling proposals, and work with operations to ensure high gross margins

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Five or more years' industry experience selling large solutions.
• Experience selling to utility or public sector clients is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prospect for new business, including trade shows, research publications and the internet; make cold calls and more.
• Develop thorough knowledge of the renewable energy industry, structure, opportunities, trends, and issues.
• Cultivate effective business relationships and communicate full scope of solutions to meet customer goals and achieve sales objectives, volume, and market share.
• Open communication lines with customer to understand needs and ensure our solutions align with their goals.
• Meet activity and results standards, including first calls, letters of authorization, amount of sales and gross margin dollars.
• Prepare and present professional proposals addressing all customer needs, including a financial proposal.
• Maintain customer contact throughout installation to resolve additional needs.
• Monitor account plan progress, market conditions, customer needs, and competitive activity.
