Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Account Manager III for remote-based field sales covering the Texas/Oklahoma region. You will drive revenue, secure new Laboratory and Health System business, and nurture key accounts while maintaining strong relationships and delivering tailored solutions.

In this role you’ll use consultative selling, manage complex deals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet sales targets and expand our protein diagnostic portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline is strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years’ sales experience in Laboratory, Medical Device, or Diagnostics Sales.
• Capital Sales experience is strongly preferred.
• Record of meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong strategic selling and complex selling skills.
• Technical knowledge to understand customer applications and workflows.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements strategy to increase test utilization and test menu within target organizations.
• Grow oncology and special protein market share by converting competitors and managing instrument proposals.
• Manage new customer instrument demos and renewals from start to finish.
• Achieve growth objectives and protect market standing against competition.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new offerings and go-lives.
• Conduct Customer Business Reviews to identify growth opportunities and optimize utilization.
