Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Account Executive to drive business development for the Clinical Trials Division within the Pharma Services Group in the US. The role focuses on biotech clients, building strategic relationships, and expanding market share across the East and West coasts, with travel up to 25% and a home-office setup.

Responsibilities include developing territory plans, generating new business, coordinating cross-divisional teams, and leading negotiations to close quotes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree preferred with 5–8 years in pharma/biotech is desirable.
• Experience selling to biotech/Pharma and managing territory with C-suite interactions is valued.
• Proven ability to develop territory plans, build strategic relationships and close deals.

Responsibilities

• Develop a detailed territory plan to optimize performance and drive growth.
• Identify new molecule opportunities and target clients across the territory.
• Create and implement sales programs to increase awareness and differentiate our services.
• Lead negotiations and enable winning quotations in the contract process.
• Maintain and share key client activities in SFDC with internal partners.
