Job summary

Bio-Techne seeks a field-based Protein Science Reagent Sales Specialist to cover a balanced subset of key accounts in Texas. The role focuses on proteins, antibodies, ELISA kits, and related products, with emphasis on consultative selling to pharma, government, and academia.

Remote work within Texas is supported, with 4 days per week in the field. The ideal candidate has a life science degree and at least 3 years of life sciences sales experience, plus proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in biological/medical sciences or life science field required.
Minimum of 3 years of life sciences sales experience required.
Experience selling research reagents or related life science consumables preferred.
Thorough understanding of scientific principles behind Bio-Techne products.
MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Teams/Salesforce proficiency desired.
Must have valid driver’s license and be able to work in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets using consultative selling methods.
Field sales in designated territory; visit customers 4 days per week.
Develop incremental business in existing and new accounts.
Identify customer solutions using protein/antibody/cell culture product knowledge.
Plan and manage accounts to meet goals aligned with company vision.
Explain value proposition, features, benefits, and applications of all relevant products.
Maintain CRM data for scheduling, forecasts and customer info.
