Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Business Development Executive on the East Coast US (Remote). You will drive growth across biotech accounts, executing territory plans and building strong customer relationships within a broad drug modalities portfolio.

You’ll lead consultative sales, forecast rigorously, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape solutions and close deals. Travel up to 50% to engage customers and Thermo Fisher sites.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of quota-carrying field sales or business development experience.
• Experience in CDMO sales and in drug modalities is a plus.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen for forecasting and pricing.
• Excellent relationship-building with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet customers and visit Thermo Fisher sites.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth and achieve/exceed AOP targets.
• Secure new molecules, service expansions and increase share of wallet for biotech accounts.
• Manage full sales cycle from outreach to contract execution.
• Develop and close commercial opportunities, quotes, and contracts.
• Identify opportunities within assigned accounts and prospects.
• Build a strong, actionable pipeline and accurate forecasts.
