Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive sales growth across the Pharma Services Biotech Account Management team. You will support territory plans, forecast, and build trusted customer relationships with stakeholders in biologics, sterile, and API modalities across the East Coast US- Remote region.

The role requires strong scientific and commercial acumen, 3-5 years of quota-carrying field sales experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of quota-carrying field sales or business development experience.
• Experience in sales within a CDMO and drug modalities is a plus.
• Strong analytical and financial skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and understand customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth and achieve/exceed sales targets.
• Secure new molecules, service expansions and increase share of wallet for biotech accounts.
• Lead consultative selling from outreach to contract execution.
• Develop and close commercial opportunities, quotations and contracts.
• Identify opportunities within accounts and align solutions to needs.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline in SFDC.
