Job summary

GuidePoint Security is seeking an Account Executive for the Northwest Bay Area to proactively network, cold call, and sell to multiple contacts, including C-level. You will manage relationships with clients using a consultative sales approach and align GuidePoint's security solutions with customer goals.

The role requires building pipeline, coordinating with vendors, and delivering compelling proposals while meeting sales and profitability targets; up to 50% travel within the United States is

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years outside sales experience in IT, preferably information security.
• Strong relationships with key accounts in the territory.
• Experience with Salesforce.com.
• Strong group presentation skills.
• Verifiable history of exceeding sales goals and generating leads.
• Demonstrated ability for lead generation and opening new accounts.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales and profitability goals consistently.
• Position, configure and quote product and service solutions to clients.
• Manage leads and opportunities in Salesforce and other CRMs.
• Accurately report sales forecasts and opportunity funnels.
• Develop and present sales proposals to clients and executives.
• Work with vendors to understand technologies and value propositions.
• Represent GuidePoint Consultants to clients and articulate areas of expertise.
