YA Group is seeking an Accident Reconstructionist to investigate vehicle accidents, document scenes, and produce scientifically supported conclusions using CAD, 3D laser scanning, and advanced simulation tools.

The role emphasizes engineering rigor, clear reporting, and collaboration with external clients such as lawyers and insurers. This is a fully remote opportunity open to candidates nationwide.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 2+ years of experience in automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, or related field.
• Strong CAD proficiency and familiarity with simulation tools.
• Working knowledge of automotive engineering and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accident investigations by visiting scenes and documenting roadway with 3D scanners.
• Inspect and measure vehicles; travel to sites as needed.
• Create scaled drawings and 3D models of scenes or vehicles.
• Analyze crash dynamics and vehicle data; perform literature research.
• Produce technical reports and assist with litigation support.
