Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking an Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) in Louisville, KY. This remote/field-based role will serve as a subject-matter expert on payer coverage, access strategies, and patient assistance to ensure optimal product access across defined accounts and territory.

You will educate HCP offices and field teams, coordinate with hubs and payers, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Market Access to address reimbursement challenges and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years professional sales, healthcare, scientific, marketing or military experience.
• Minimum three years’ experience in public or private third party reimbursement arena or pharmaceutical industry in managed care, patient services, or clinical support.
• Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension experience preferred; Cardiology/Pulmonology/orphan drug experience preferred.
• Proven experience with hubs, billing, coding, appeals across provider types.
• Experience with commercial payers, Medicare plans and state Medicaid in the geographic region.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Local and national travel required for this position.
• Team player capable of collaborating with multiple stakeholders to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Analyze access/reimbursement issues.
• Provide education to HCP offices on product access/reimbursement.
• Educate field teams on access/reimbursement upon approved direction.
• Coordinate with third parties including hubs on access/reimbursement issues.
• Support oncology and specialty pharmacy payer coverage discussions.
• Explain coverage and ICD-10 coding for the product to stakeholders.
• Educate HCPs about hub programs, patient support offerings and financial assistance.
• Stay updated on payer coverage changes impacting patient access.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Field Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Public Affairs, Government Affairs, Trade and Specialty Pharmacy Accounts.
• Attend National and Regional Meetings.
