Job summary

Syneos Health in Louisville, KY is seeking an Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) to serve as subject-matter expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage. This remote/field-based role educates accounts within the territory and coordinates with hubs and cross-functional teams.

You will analyze issues, provide education to HCP offices and field teams, and support patient access while travel within the territory is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years in sales, healthcare, scientific, marketing or military experience.
• Minimum three years’ experience in public or private third party reimbursement arena or pharmaceutical industry in managed care, patient services, or clinical support.
• Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension experience preferred; cardiology/pulmonology and/or orphan drug experience preferred.
• Experience with hubs and payer coverage issues across provider types; familiarity with commercial payers, Medicare plans and state Medicaid in geographic region.
• Willingness to travel locally and nationally; valid driver’s license; reside within territory.

Responsibilities

• Analyze access/reimbursement issues
• Provide access/reimbursement education to HCP offices
• Provide access/reimbursement education to field teams upon approved direction
• Coordinate on access/reimbursement issues with third parties including hubs
• Provide education and support on Specialty Pharmacy issues for payer coverage
• Provide information to HCP on how products are covered under the benefit design
• Answer questions about coverage and ICD-10 codes
• Educate HCP offices on hub programs including patient support offerings
• Demonstrate knowledge of access resources and payer policies
• Attend National and Regional Meetings
