Cardinal Health in the United States is seeking a Supervisor, Access and Patient Support to oversee customer service, enrollment and reimbursement activities, and benefit investigations for pharmacy coverage in a remote capacity.

The role includes leading a remote team, developing SOPs, monitoring KPIs, and coordinating with internal partners to resolve complex issues while ensuring HIPAA compliance and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3 years leadership experience in a call center.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service.
• Excellent leadership, troubleshooting, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and lead remote teams.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts if needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for inbound/outbound patient access team.
• Maintain development goals and training in a remote setting.
• Create and maintain SOPs and program metrics.
• Review program metrics and report results to leadership.
• Manage workflow to ensure efficient customer service; monitor KPIs.
• Test and approve program changes including tech and business rules.
• Meet with Manager to discuss performance and policy updates.
• Conduct regular 1:1 coaching and development.
• Manage Workday tasks such as timecards and PTO.
• Ensure compliance with laws and HIPAA.
• Collaborate with internal partners to resolve complex program issues.
• Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Maintain daily contact with client/3rd party partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
