Job summary

Cardinal Health in the United States is seeking a Supervisor, Access and Patient Support to oversee a remote team delivering customer service, enrollment and reimbursement activities, and prior authorization assistance for pharmacy benefit coverage.

You will develop SOPs, monitor program metrics, coach staff, and coordinate with partners to resolve complex issues while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2-3 years proven leadership experience in a call center or customer service environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent leadership, troubleshooting, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent assignments with a sense of urgency.
• Highly organized with strong time management skills.
• Commitment to ongoing development of self and team members.
• Ability to lead and engage remote employees.
• Shift flexibility for early/later coverage if needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations for an inbound and outbound patient access support team.
• Maintain development and training goals for a remote team.
• Create and maintain SOPs and work instructions & metrics for the program.
• Review program metrics and report results to leadership on a regular cadence.
• Manage workflow to ensure efficient customer service; monitor KPIs like abandon rate, Service Level, and First Call Resolution.
• Test/solutionize/approve program changes including tech platform upgrades and rules modifications.
• Meet with Manager regularly to discuss performance and policy updates.
• Conduct coaching and performance reviews with team members on a biweekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
