Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2, to manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair at substations and PV facilities. This remote role requires heavy travel to varying jobsites and close coordination with the team and clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Work toward C-10 license or Certified Electrical Worker Card.
• Ability to travel ~75% of the time.
• Pass exams on electrical schematics, troubleshooting, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
• Must have OSHA 30, NFPA 70e, STS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting as directed by management.
• Perform site testing, maintenance, repair and energized electrical work adhering to safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate test reports and documentation.
• Lead training and certify Testing Technician Level I employees.
• Develop safety policies and write SOPs as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors and teammates.
