Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2, to manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities at substations and PV facilities. This remote role requires heavy travel to diverse job sites and a strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards, OSHA 30, NFPA 70e, and ability to pass multiple electrical exams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Travel up to 75% of the time; relevant safety certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting as directed by management.
• Perform energized electrical work in accordance with safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and test reports.
• Safely operate a wide range of electrical testing equipment.
• Provide training and oversight to Testing Technician Level I personnel.
