Job summary

National University is seeking an Academic and Finance Advisor to support students online across the United States. You will connect with students via calls, emails, texts, and chats to answer questions, celebrate achievements, and help navigate financial aid and course planning.

You will monitor progress toward graduation, identify at-risk students, and collaborate with colleagues to provide timely resources and solutions that keep students on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of advising or customer service experience required.
• Experience in student services or training in a college setting preferred.
• Experience in high-paced, student-centric environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage student load and complete daily tasks using the Roadrunner System or similar tools.
• Identify at-risk students and provide early resolutions.
• Monitor degree plans, course schedules, and SAP compliance.
• Advise on financial aid requirements and university policies.
• Track student balances and assist with collection efforts when needed.
• Support escalated students and maintain professional university communications.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and departmental projects.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
