Job summary

AcePeak is a telecom and CPaaS company expanding in South Africa and the wider African market. We are seeking an A2P SMS Sales Manager to grow our business in the region. This is a fully remote role, you can work from anywhere in the world.

Responsibilities include finding new clients, selling A2P SMS solutions, negotiating rates and contracts, and managing the full sales cycle from lead gen to onboarding and growth. A2P SMS, bulk SMS, OTP/2FA and CPaaS knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience selling A2P SMS, bulk SMS or CPaaS solutions.
• Good knowledge of the South African and/or African messaging market.
• Existing network of enterprise clients, aggregators or MNO contacts is a strong plus.
• Understanding of SMS routing, sender IDs, delivery reports and pricing.
• Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-driven and comfortable working remotely across time zones.
• Graduate in any discipline.

Responsibilities

• Find and win new A2P SMS clients in South Africa and the wider African market.
• Sell A2P SMS, bulk SMS, OTP / 2FA, transactional and promotional messaging to enterprises, banks, fintechs, e-commerce and aggregators.
• Build relationships with local MNOs (Vodacom, MTN, Cell C, Telkom) and SMS aggregators.
• Understand client needs, propose the right routes and pricing, and close deals.
• Negotiate rates, volumes and contracts.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to onboarding and account growth.
• Track traffic, delivery quality, margins and payments with clients.
• Meet monthly and quarterly revenue and traffic targets.
