Job summary

Medium is seeking a charismatic SMS Sales Manager to lead growth in our messaging business. This high-impact role requires expertise in A2P SMS trading along with the ability to build traction for silent authentication products. You will negotiate with operators and aggregators, develop trading models, and represent the company at industry events.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in sales within messaging or telecoms, a proven revenue track record, and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in sales or trading within messaging or wholesale telecoms.
• Proven track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong written and spoken English; high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate growth of the messaging services unit.
• Negotiate SMS commercial terms to maximise margin/volume.
• Develop innovative trading models to secure sustainable revenue streams.

Skills
